This year marks an incredible milestone: 10 years of CRIO.
I joined CRIO over 5 years ago as a Content Associate and shortly after beginning my journey here, the COVID pandemic started. It was a pivotal point in the industry as site technology became more of a need, but it was also important for me personally as I had been working toward a goal of attending medical school. One of my first responsibilities was connecting with CRIO sites to understand how they were continuing research operations in a pandemic. From my experiences as a coordinator, I already knew the role clinical research played in medication development and how it offers patients another avenue of care. It was through outreach to sites that I saw the creativity, dedication and collaboration of the research community to ensure that research and patient care could continue, and how site technology played a significant role in enabling this.
Since then, I have transitioned fully to Implementation and Onboarding services, where I can continue to build connections with research sites. By helping them adopt eSource and CTMS technology, we continue to make a positive impact by encouraging efficiency, quality and collaboration. It’s been incredible to see how much the CRIO site community has grown, and I look forward to seeing the impact the CRIO community has on future trials.
I am grateful and proud to be a part of Team CRIO. I can’t wait to see where the next 10 years take us!
