Save Our Sites 2025 Recap

CRIO recently attended the Save Our Sites conference from March 13th to 15th in Oklahoma City, OK. It was an inspiring and energizing weekend that brought together research sites from around the world to share insights and challenges.
Throughout the event, discussions spanned a wide range of critical topics, including site growth, financial sustainability, expansion into diverse therapeutic areas, and more. One early session addressed an ongoing concern for many sites, how to retain top talent and keep teams motivated to continue their essential work. Another compelling conversation focused on the role of artificial intelligence in clinical research. Attendees shared both excitement about AI’s potential to streamline workflows and concerns about the implications of reduced human oversight.
Naturally, many sessions returned to the ever-important theme of site revenue, exploring strategies of how to attract more studies while also ensuring sustainable, long-term growth. A key message throughout the weekend was the importance of leveraging in-person connections to build partnerships that can drive engagement and enrollment well into the future.
At our booth, we had the opportunity to speak with a variety of attendees, including both current CRIO users and those exploring eSource solutions. We asked many of them to describe the conference in a single word. Some of the responses we heard included: groundbreaking, authentic, and impactful. These conversations were incredibly valuable and will continue to inform how we evolve our platform to meet the real-world needs of research sites.
It is always powerful to hear how CRIO is able to save sites time and resources through utilizing electronic storage for data, and we remain committed to being an ally to sites and a partner in the clinical research field.
